There are a lot of holes that I’d be more than happy to be in, but the one that I despise being in is the hole of depression. Anyone who has been through depression knows what I’m talking about. It’s a ride that never stops fast enough. Having depression can completely devour your life and literally destroy your livelihood if you let it. When I suffered from depression I found it hard to function normally on a day to day basis. I was constantly feeling down in the dumps and I never felt like doing anything. I couldn’t work, I couldn’t eat, and I hardly even got out of bed. My days of depression could have ruined the life that I had planned for myself and my family if I hadn’t taken the iniciative and gotten depression treatment. Getting treatment for my depression got me out of the rut that I found myself in. It not only changed my life, but it also changed the lives of my family and friends too. I learned how to combat my depression and my family and friends learned how to help me in my time of need. I finally got out of the hole I was in and put my mind to bigger and better things.

Alcohol Rehabs–this is what they do.
Posted in Addiction, Alcohol Rehab
Alcohol rehabs can save lives from utter ruin. That’s what they do. With all of the other addictions that are so commonly spoken about in the media, alcoholism seems to be one that gets lost in the sauce. Alcohol rehabs exist solely to rehabilitate alcoholics and give them the freedom from alcohol that they need to go on with their lives. It’s important to understand that alcohol can destroy lives just as easily as any other addiction can and that it can be more dangerous than other addictions, as well.
Alcohol rehabs all over the world are dedicated to making it known that alcoholism is a wide spread disease and it can be super dangerous. Why? Well, because most people are more excepting of alcoholism and alcoholics then they are of drug addicts and their addictions. It’s a strange phenomenon. And even though most people know that it is completely a double standard, there are few people that act like they know and relieve society of the stigma on other addicts.

Percocet
Posted in Addiction, Drug Abuse, Drug Rehab
To be hooked on Percocet is to be lost in the Fog: in a Haze of Nowhere and Nothingness that both is and is not; in a Shroud of self-bound oblivion that isolates you from anything you’ve ever known, or anything you’ve ever believed. To be hooked on Percocet, in the end, is to be trapped in a world…and Existence…that bears very little semblance to any that could ever be worth living in.
And so to be hooked on Percocet, or have an drug abuse problem goes without saying, is a status quo that just can’t be tolerated.
The good news is that drug rehab works. You can beat Percocet addiction, if you want to; you can find your way out of the Fog, the Haze, the Shroud…provided you have the strength to check into a rehab center. Will it be easy? No, of course not. But at least it will be Real. If you or someone you care about has succumbed to Percocet abuse, you don’t need to be told how precious a thing reality can be.
